Local Office Programs

We are more than fundraisers, we are hand raisers and game changers. We take on social crises that face our communities. We offer many programs locally that are 100% handled by our UW staff and volunteers right here at the local office. We work in the community for lasting change and real community impact—hand in hand with community partners.. Like the costs associated with administration and fund raising, many program costs are determined by using a quarterly time study to see where employees are spending their time. Most program costs can be attributed to staff salaries and benefits but some costs are related to supplies and direct assistance.

Some of those programs are:

We provide free 24/7 access to the 2-1-1 information and referal line-Find out more by clicking on the 211 tab

We operate free tax prep sites in all three counties January through March

We offer a SNAP match program at the Zanesville Farmers Market and assisted the market in getting SNAP equipment

We partner with three local back to school/ school readiness programs to provide materials for successful return to school
